Balinese people are very friendly and accommodating. And like in any other places, it is nice thing to do to learn basic local languages especially greetings and counting numbers. They will highly appreciate it if you greet them in Balinese like, “Om Swastiastu”, which means “peace, good health to you”. And saying “Suksma” as “Thank you”, while “Suksma Mewali” as “You’re welcome”.

Clueless AirAsia Staff left Frustrated Passengers going to Bali Clueless

07230006-edited

Our flight schedule was 815pm yesterday (July22) but they “rescheduled” it the following day (July 23) morning, 815pm. A 12hour delayed flight.  And now, 815am, the staff in Q9 Gate of KLIA2 is clueless and still waiting for information from their officers.

Until now, staff can’t give use any information yet.  I will update the progress of this post until we reach Bali.

UPDATE:

  • July 23, 2015 8:23am: Staff told us that we are leaving by 10:10am. Again, we will wait and see.
  • July 23, 2015 850am: Staff confronted me to delete his pictures and still waiting for update.
  • July 23, 2015 930am An airplane arrived but still no info if it is our ride to Bali

An update on my small RaspberryPi Project for Indigenous Kids of Mindoro

Facebook Screenshot
“Because one of my student don’t know how to read yet… now he can with the use of technology… see! he’s a technical guy now… I wish more units would come… hehe – thanks to Indigenous PH to sir Macoy Mejia go on brothers!” – Gimparay Sialdang

Most of these kids doesn’t reach or proceed secondary education.  Because for them, primary education will suffice to live for farming and do labor works.  With this new skills that they have learned, I hope that their future would change for the better.
