After months of complaining… Finally I’m officially out from WiTribePH network and hello to SmartBro WiMAX 🙂
Nag apply ako online through smartbro portal. Then the following day, I received a call from one of their agents to get and confirm my infos. They texted me the service reference number to proceed the installation and sinigurado nila sakin na that I can have a refund and return the device in case na wala or bad signal sa area ko.
A field engineer contacted me and told me that he will visit and install my new SmartBro WiMAX ahead scheduled. and booom!! installed na kagad!
Pumapalo kagad pagka install… unlike… hmmmm maghihintay ka na nga… mabubwiset ka pa
good job SmartBRO wimax!!!

Hindi ko lang alam kung kasama to sa terms and conditions to na pwede silang mag inject ng pop-up ads nila while browsing…

Still works!! can call and send SMS, can browse and tether internet, can play music, can sync email and calendar, can capture photo and video… still four bars after four days without charging.
One of my friend remind me that it also works as a SIP client… haha! and it really does! amazing phone!

Update 20120528: A wiTribe technical support called while I’m at work last friday afternoon. Asking kung pwede kaming mag troubleshoot. and syempre ang sagot ko hindi pwede dahil nasa office pako and nasa bahay ang witribe. So she asked me when is the best time to call daw. Ang sabi ko bukas ng hapon mga 4pm.
….. after 2days.
WALA PARIN TUMATAWAG.
Update 20120530: Ms Jamie called and asking again for my availability. (PFFFTTT!@!! SO SO SO SO LATE!! I’m applying for SmartBro already.) I told her na ipapa disconnect ko na lang. But she told me na dapat ko daw dalhin sa nearest WiTribe shop nila. F.U. @WiTribePH!!! hangang sa huli abala ka!
Update 20120530: @WitribePH is trying to convince me na gagawan nila ng paraan. Tingnan natin!

I recently uninstalled Path, Instagram and Tumblr. I turned off Facebook notifications, previously set to check every 30mins. I just want to receive updates from my close friends on FB, so I use tweetdeck.
